Poetic-Verses

'' Guilty As Charged ''

Do you know my name?
You hear them cry,
I'm famous you can't arrest me,
I've got fortune and fame,
So, my restraints untie,
I demand that you set me free.

You'll lose your job,
With the people I know,
You'll be thrown onto the street,
You, low down slob,
I'll put on a show,
I will have you bow at my feet.

I'm famous and rich,
As you'll find out,
I'm immune to the rules you call law,
I'll make my pitch,
The law I'll flout,
Despite what you claim you saw.

Money is power,
Fame is wealth,
I look upon you lot as scum,
I'll make you cower,
You're bad for my health,
You'll be sued for a very large sum.

I'm eager and prepared,
You'd better beware,
You'll soon be the one suffering strife,
I know you feel scared,
So, you'd better prepare,
This will be the shock of your life.

Then starts the trial,
I take to the stand,
I inform them, I'm a very high flyer,
Though I'm in denial,
Things get out of hand,
When they say I'm a very bad liar?

I'm innocent I shout,
But the jury don't listen,
Your fantasy has become quite enlarged,
In here there's no doubt,
Your gold doesn't glisten,
The judge declares,

‘' Guilty As Charged ‘'
