Nature Spoke To Me

I have been so sad since you passed away.

To my surprise I felt happiness today.

Snow fell and covered the land last night.

My first thoughts the snow was pure, white, beautiful, and bright.

It was something special and welcoming about this snow.

What it was I do not know.

With this snow in the air I felt a touch of spring.

I don't know what the remaining days of winter will bring.

The snow was telling me that it is time to begin anew.

I have felt so awfully blue.

The sun came out this morning too.

Shining and smiling it reminded me of you.

Yes, you my dear although you are away from here.

You are in my heart; you are always near.

Beneath the light snow,

I saw blades of green grass down below.

Snow rested on pine trees.

A wondrous sight for me to see.

With this snow I felt a sense of hope.

I had a feeling that I can cope.

Seeing the beauty of nature.

Allows me to be sure.

Sure that Spring will soon arrive and snow will hide.

Nature spoke to me with generous pride.

- Henry David Thoreau -

Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.

- Gary Snyder -

"Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better." Albert Einstein

Everything in nature contains all the power of nature. Everything is made of one hidden stuff.

- Ralph Waldo Emerson -

“Look at a tree, a plant. How still they are, how deeply rooted in being. Allow nature to teach you stillness.” Eckhart Tolle
