I hear the trains in the distance.
Rolling down that mountain.
The clicking tracks makes me
Look back, to early childhood
Days. It was a time when trains
Were set ablaze.

The way to travel with little fuss,
The roomy option that beat riding
On a bus. The countryside was displayed
With pride, I loved the anticipation of
the ride.

The sight of the city from the great wide
view would make my heart skip a beat
or jump a pound or few.
Each stop would fascinate me of all the
faces shining through.

I'd listen to the radio of songs that
made me dream. I'd awake suddenly when
That train whistle made a scream!

Those days are over, I miss it's awesome
Feel, when adventure was around the track
and travel had appeal!
