Continue steadfastly in prayer,

Being watchful in thanksgiving;

A willingness with God you share,

What goes on in daily living.

At the same time, pray for others,

So that God keeps an open door;

Remember fathers and mothers,

And your siblings that you adore.

Serve them just as they have served you,

That I may make it clear to speak;

Remembering all the past through,

They were there helping you to seek.

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders,

Making the best use of the time;

For serving as the providers,

Converting others in their prime.

Let your speech always be gracious,

Seasoned with salt so you will know;

Mysteriously audacious,

As the Word from the Lord will flow.

I have been sent that you may know,

That Christ may encourage your heart;

As the words from my mouth will show,

On how in making a new start.

You are fellow workers of God,

And have been comforting to me;

That is why we honor and laud,

The triune God the Almighty.

For you are a servant of Christ,

Always struggling on His behalf;

Everything you sacrificed,

While others do mock and laugh.

Stand mature and fully assured,

Laboring fervently in prayer;

Perfect and complete for the Lord,

Sincerity showing you care.

For I bear witness with great zeal,

To take heed in the ministry;

The future will no more conceal,

Which was once as a mystery.
