What causes quarrels to fight?

Is it the passion for war?

To determine who is right,

Or who has the loudest roar.

For your passion to battle,

The desire deep inside;

Like the stampeding cattle,

Raging waters of the tide.

You desire but have not,

So, you murder to obtain;

For something that you have sought,

So, you are able to gain.

You ask but do not receive,

Spending wrong on your passion;

For you let the world deceive,

With such aggressive fashion.

Adulterers do not know,

That friendship within this world;

Enmity with God does show,

Through the years that have unfurled.

Being a friend of this place,

Makes an enemy of God;

Merely will fall from His grace,

They never honor and laud.

For what do the Scriptures mean,

Is the intention nothing;

Yearning of jealousy seen,

Like the Spirit is bluffing.

But His Spirit dwells within,

And is giving more than grace;

Wants you to avoid the sin,

And think far beyond this place.

The Lord opposes the proud,

But gives grace to the humble;

For humbleness is endowed,

Ensuring not to stumble.

Let laughter turn to mourning,

As your joy becomes despair;

Letting this be a warning,

Humbly talk to God in prayer.
