Springtime

Flowers bloom as Winter fades
Sunshine comes and has its day!
Tour of darkness fades to a purple hue
I can smell the lilacs that and lavender too!
Spring is here and I am back!
No longer stuck out on the rack!
Singing songs of a joyous heart
I go about my day in a daze smiling from its start!
Sunshine brightens up my soul
Takes me high and never low!
Landing on newly budded green blades
In this sunshine dream there is no haze!
Before the rays came tumbling down
Darkness spread across the ground!
Prayers like incense I would send up
For my cup was empty and I was stuck!
Lost in mazes so large and unreal
Thank you Spring for all you reveal!
Glorious creations of all kinds of tasty colors, scents, scenes, and displays
I spend all my time with you and I say, Spring is the Season of Re-Birth today!
