Ever Think About Jesus?
You say you problems, you got worries and fears
You say you shed blood as much as you shed tears
You work everyday but you never seem to gain
The more times change the more they stay the same
You say you got a family, you got mouths to feed
Ever wonder how many people have the same need
The days get longer and your breath gets shorter
Sometimes its even hard to keep simple thoughts in order
Everyday there are choices what ever should I do
Give up and stop trying, or see this life though
Ever think about Jesus, what went through His head
Instead of home in heaven, homeless on earth instead
The Son of the most high living at the most low
His shoes old and worn, rips and tears in His clothes
The birds have there nest: the foxes were well fed
Yet there He was with no place to lay His head
Most places He was rejected, very few He was received
Offering salvation to any who would believe
Knowing His own end before He even began
What if He would have turned away and ran
Stood by His statement “take this cup from Me”
If He never faced the cross where would we be
You say you got problems, worries and fears
He shed is blood so He can wipe your tears
He offers a solution to your stress and your strife
And the promises those who endure eternal life
Ever think about Jesus when you're going through
You should think about Jesus, He thought about you
