Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner
Show not any prejudice,
If possessing faith in Christ;
Let not this world to entice,
For the Lord be sacrificed.
For someone comes with pure wealth,
Think not of him as higher;
Than a person in poor health,
That you would less desire.
Cater not to appearance,
Rather by inner beauty;
And for godly adherence,
To be a Christian duty.
Have you not made distinctions,
Judging of evil motives;
Leaving no contradictions,
Like people held as captives.
Has God not chosen the poor,
To be rich in faith as heirs;
Promised to love and adore,
Making His Kingdom as theirs.
But you have dishonored them,
As the rich drags them to court;
So that the judges and condemn,
And enabled to extort.
Blaspheme not the good name,
The name to whom you belong;
And continue to proclaim,
That your love will remain strong.
As yourself love your neighbor,
Fulfilling the royal law;
Through your leisure and labor,
Keeping you from a downfall.
Showing prejudice is sin,
As a law of transgression;
And it will remain within,
Until you have a confession.
Speak and act as those who judge,
By the law that gives freedom;
For mercy holding no grudge,
Shrive to enter His Kingdom
