Consider Him who endured,
Hostility from sinners;
Grow not weariness assured,
Of the heartless non-winners.
For struggling against the sin,
You have not yet resisted;
The shedding of blood within,
Pain constantly persisted.
You forgot the exhortation,
Taking not the discipline;
Light for abomination,
Rather punishment for sin.
The Lord disciplines the one,
That He loves and who believes;
For what he or she has done,
Chastises for one receives.
Discipline enduring pain,
God deals with you as a son;
A reminder to refrain,
For what he or she has done.
But without the discipline,
You are illegitimate;
And can never be some kin,
Which is inappropriate.
Discipline from our fathers,
Came for giving them respect;
Knowing that the hurt bothers,
But knew we could not reject.
We should submit even more,
Father of Spirit and lives;
Who has taught us to endure,
He is willing to forgive.
Disciplined for a short time,
Based on what seemed to be good;
But was actually a crime,
Remembering what you should.
Strengthen your weak hands and feet,
Able to make a straight path;
What is lame is not complete,
To be healed before the wrath.
