Blanket Made of Stars
Written By Cynthia Louise Baker Bogear

Laying under a bed of stars on a warm summer night,
Flashes of life dancing along the skyline,
Moments of grace and pride twinkled in the twilight,
Then moments of failure and humility cast in the sky,
My lessons I learned I do agree,
However, must some of these pains proceed,
Joys I shall always keep near to me,
Deep in my thoughts I lay upon the grass,
Watching the stars dance through the night,
Many moments of life played back that night,
Laying under a blanket made of stars for me.
