When God laid the foundation,
Where were you here on the earth;
Offering to all salvation,
Ensuring you of your birth.
Who has set the measurement,
Do you have understanding;
Line stretching for betterment,
Sensed what God is demanding.
On what were its bases set,
For laying its cornerstone;
Foundations thereof to let,
Enables Him to atone.
When the morning stars sang out,
The sons of God cried for joy;
Was there ever any doubt,
The true intent to deploy.
Who shut up the sea with doors,
When it bursts out of the womb;
Giving birth to distant shores,
Living life before the tomb.
When God had made the storm clouds,
Thick darkness of swaddling band;
The gathering of the crowds,
Causes a deluge on land.
Laws of physics not changed,
God has prescribed its limits;
Its bolts and doors are arranged,
Ensuring all of it fits.
For you may come no farther,
Here your proud waves are confined;
For you to reach the Father,
Through the Son must be aligned.
Have you ever in your life,
Commanded of the morning;
Causing dawn to be in strife,
Preventing it from forming.
It might seize over the earth,
Shaking all the wicked out;
Exposing of their true worth,
What the darkness is about.
The wicked withholds the light,
Tell me if you know it all;
If evil controls the night,
Wonders never cease that fall.
