Give thanks unto the Lord,

His loyal love endures;

As He is loved and adored,

Any trouble He cures.

Let the family say,

His loyal love endures;

Always trust and obey,

In all of His grandeurs.

A loyal follower,

Is one of His treasures,

Being a hallower,

His loyal love endures.

I cry out in distress,

And the Lord answered me;

Confessing my transgress,

Pardon iniquity.

He put me in my place,

My eyes were opened wide;

Gave me mercy and grace,

Proof He was on my side.

I cannot be afraid,

No one can do to me;

Renders comfort and aid,

Giving insight to see.

The Lord is on my side,

Helping me to prevail;

Enabled to provide,

His decrees in detail.

Better to trust the Lord,

Than to have trust in man;

Walking in one accord,

For following His plan.

Let Him be your refuge,

In His sanctuary;

When there is a deluge,

From burdens you carry.

They have surrounded me,

But I can destroy them;

The Lord makes His decree,

And able to condemn.

The Lord gives me the might,

To be my foundation;

Guiding me to the light,

Being my salvation.
