Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

I pray for His Divine power,

To bestow on everything;

Living godliness each hour,

Of the rich knowledge it will bring.

His own glory and excellence,

Of through these things He has bestowed;

And His precious benevolence,

Grows from the seeds that have been sowed.

By the means of what was promised,

You share in the divine nature;

Drawing you to be the closest,

In being as a new creature.

After escaping desire,

Of evil worldly corruption;

You spiritually acquire,

From a heavenly eruption.

Add to your faith through your effort,

The knowledge and the self-control;

Perseverance as to divert,

Corruption away from your soul.

Show all others unselfish love,

Showing brotherly affection;

That is flowing down from above,

Like blood at the crucifixion.

For if these things are within you,

They will continue to increase;

As Jesus Christ you will pursue,

Motivation will never cease.

For whoever lacks will be blind,

He is nearsighted from His sin;

Corruption flows throughout his mind,

For he has not been cleansed within.

Make every drive to be sure,

Of your calling and election;

For cleansing down deep at the core,

Through having a divine selection.

Then fear not and never stumble,

Going back to your former ways;

And no longer will you grumble,

As to be living holy days.

For the entrance to the Kingdom,

To join our Lord and Savior;

Will richly provide His wisdom,

As He looks on you with favor.
