Rockin sockin rough rolling --------WAVES
deep, dark, cold Lonely-------CAVES
mosquito, Infested, Congested--buzzing------FORREST
with Unrelenting, Swatting, with total Exhaustion, and -----UNREST
Coyotes a singing all together barking, Yippin and nightime All, together in Coyote Chorus---HOWLING
a Night time OWL, a Hooting and---OWLING
A Canary, done Wrong sitting still with no --------SONG
-and--a---, wiener-- Dog,-- gone --LONG
A simple little POEM
with No ---Rhyme NO ---Rhythm. NO---Reason, NO ---Season
Known---------OR-----------SHOWN
A BABIES, FIRST--Little--STEP
that for a Parent, in HEART
is---FOREVER---Tucked-AWAY,
And-------so
Preciously
KEPT
The FIRST-DAY-of-PRE-SCHOOL
For my Grand Daughter, who now already is
so Mighty smart and fine
at--super--fourth Grade
NINE
as she would, hang on tight and for her dear Life
to her daddy, and she didn't want to let him GO
and she would whimper and shake so scared so frightened and say
DAD--PLEASE--PLEASE-PLEASE-DADDY, don't LEAVE ME, DAD--PLEASE--Dont--LEAVE--ME
and she CRIED--and--CRIED--and--CRIED
so hurtfully so, with no--happies--pre--school--fun--OR----SHINE
But little at first DID-SHE--KNOW
that HER--GRAMPS
was in the PARKING-LOT
across the Street
and I would watch her on the Playground
and I knew all of her teachers miss Holly. And Miss KINDS, and a little boy named-- Chase --who was a best friend in --pre school --she did find
so, I watched her for the first week very closely--SO
Life---THROWS, us a many Waves of DOWNS
but MORE--UPS
as the THRILL, JOY, and EXCITMENT, and MIRACLE of Life, LIVING, and LOVE
of a DOGGIE---that gives BIRTH
to
Beautiful
NEW--BORN
