I thank God to whom I serve,
With sound mind and clear conscience;
And confidence for the nerve,
For proclaiming in defense.
Remembering in my prayers,
As I remember your tears;
Toil and hardship that shares,
For causing all of your fears.
I long for the day to see,
So that I may fill with joy;
And be eternally be,
The happiness to employ.
I know your faith is sincere,
A faith dwelt in your mother;
A faith you cherish so dear,
Surpassing by no other.
Rekindle and fan the flame,
That was a gift from the Lord;
For going out and proclaim,
And remain in one accord.
Allow God to lay His hands,
Upon your head to anoint;
And obeying His commands,
With the duties to appoint.
For God gave us a spirit,
Not of fear rather of love;
And power to inherit,
Salvation from up above.
Be not shamed to testify,
About our Lord and Savior;
Suffering to purify,
Blessing in giving favor.
He saved us for His calling,
Not for deeds that we have done;
Rather stop us from falling,
By sacrificing His Son.
For His purpose and His grace,
God has given Jesus Christ;
Being able to embrace,
Before He was sacrificed.
He broke the power of death,
Giving immortality;
With life after last breath,
Eternal reality.
