Any encouragement in Christ,
Any comfort rendered by love;
Any fellowship be enticed,
Through mercy coming from above.
Complete my joy of the same mind,
Being united in spirit;
Because of your faith being blind,
Having one purpose in merit.
Rather than being motivated,
By having selfish ambition;
That conceit has captivated,
Allowing your inhibition.
Be moved to treat one another,
As being of more importance;
Prioritized as your brother,
A person of great influence.
Be not concerned of just your own,
Rather concerns of others too;
Find out if they also condone,
Of the things that you want to do.
You should have the same attitude,
Towards one another just as Christ;
Consider them about their mood,
Still if your time is sacrificed.
Christ exists in the form of God,
But regards not equality;
As we should still honor and laud,
Both Father and Son equally.
He took on the form as a slave,
By sharing in human nature;
But brought back to life from the grave,
And becoming a new creature.
Humbled to be obedient,
On the cross to the point of death;
His glory shining radiant,
Having new life after last breath.
In the name of Christ all will kneel,
And every tongue will confess;
Respecting Christ as Lord to heel,
To the glory that God will bless.
