You say of us you will take care of, each and every day,
but that that truth hasn't come our way.
In your word we are suppose to trust,
but why don't you show us.
As veterans we serve as well as we could,
promises that you made, hoping to come true we believe would.
Making laws and rules, for all but a few.
as we watched as all the lies grew.
No help for veterans, as they died without the needed care,
no money was given, as no benefit was going to be shared.
So, don't feed me that bull,
since from under us the rug you will pull.
Don't say thank you,
when coming from the VA, we know it isn't true.
