I Remember,when I was small,
A small girl entered in my room From the window in the wall. I saw her face. It was smiling with grace. I wondered who she was, This was a neighbour And a mate of my class. She loved me and me too at heart, The day of this incidence I treated her my sweet-heart. After the heat of summers Cool breeze started to blow To see her in my lap Every thing was going slow. The sky overcasted with clouds, And the gentle rain came pouring down I was happy, feeling proud. Calm and quiet, Sweating left and right. Feeling of heaven everything was sighted, The little hemlet was delighted. With the Spirits running high, It took a sweet journey After a long summer sigh. This was started every then & now. Can't explain it, when and How. But the day of surprise was not away Saw her in lap of another chap The same way. I regret it than alone in the dark, On how to reconcile and how did embark. I complained myself the way to misunderstand My legs were trembling and resisted to stand. This misunderstanding made me weary I pondered for hours with eyes in teary. I was in thought of my flaming fate, But was decided in my heart to keep as hate. And closed and sewed All it's Gates. ~~~~*Harash Mahajan*~~~~ Vote for this poem
