 Crying  Time
It's  crying  time, the  dam  has  been  breached, not
Sound  enough  to  hold  back  the  rushing  flood, tears
Stream  relentlessly  from  burning  red  eye's, as  this
River  flows, down  the  neck, spilling  onto  her  clothes

She  retreats, so  no  one  pries, ashamed, She  berates
Herself, as  a  thousand  times  before, you're  such
A  weakling, a  coward, haven't  you  any self control
What's  wrong  with  you, you're  an  emotional  cripple

People  have  long  since  grown  calloused  to  her  tears
Did  anyone  ever  really  care  what  caused  them  to  erupt
Could  she  even  begin  to  explain, if  one  inquired, how
Can  you  tell  someone, what  you  don't  know

How  do  you  articulate, a  sound, a  smell, a  taste, a
Melody, a  picture  in  a magazine, how  do  you  tell
Someone, if  one  perchance  should  ask, that  every  day
Things, make  your  heart  break, over  and  over  again.
