I thank Christ for giving me strength,
Persevering at any length;
Because He judged me as faithful,
Being spiritually graceful.
Before, I was a blasphemer
Being a carnal daydreamer;
But I got merciful relief,
Such ignorance in unbelief.
And the grace of Christ overflows,
Because of the fact that He knows;
That builds up my faith and my love,
For the triune God up above.
For this is a faithful saying,
Remembered when I am praying;
Trustworthy of full acceptance,
After my complete repentance.
I received grace for this reason,
And forgiven for my treason;
Since Christ displays perfect patience,
For His provisional acceptance.
The King eternal with His eyes,
The immortal God who is wise;
Be honor and glory forever,
A bonding love will not sever.
For this charge I entrust in you,
Always remaining tried and true;
Through the prophecies long before,
That by them will open the door.
Hold your faith and a good conscience,
Using wisdom for a defense;
To reject could cause a shipwreck,
Through journey of faith that you trek.
If you reject you have given,
Satan to steal you from Heaven;
Blaspheme that you should not learn,
Valid reason that you would burn.
