Out of the depths I call the Lord,
Asking to listen to my voice;
Not allowing to be ignored,
For helping me make the right choice.
Let His ears heedful to my cry,
If He looked at sin who could stand;
There would not be a reason why,
Pulling me out of the sinking sand.
There is forgiveness through the Lord,
That He may always be revered;
Show that He is loved and adored,
Continuously in being feared.
So, I am waiting for the Lord,
And in His Word my soul will hope;
As I remain in one accord,
While I continue to cope.
I proceed to wait for the Lord,
Like a watchman in the morning;
Waiting for blessings be outpoured,
To be coming without warning.
Put all of your hope in the Lord,
For there is faithful love with Him;
Abundant redemption as cured,
Building up your spiritual vim.
He will redeem you all your sin,
Your iniquities no longer;
While His Spirit cleans within,
To be spiritually stronger.
I will be waiting for the Lord,
More than watchmen for the morning;
Seeing Him where eagles have soared,
Coming down from the clouds adorning.
