Unknown Soldier

I'm not happy about it and hold no malice
This back street bench was once my Palace
At the end of the war, I'd lost it all but I fought
So my Country would not fall
I visit the resting place of the Unknown Soldier
Someone knew his name,
Someone fought by his side
In a War that could not Tame...
Someone called him, Son, someone watched him grow
He grew, but now he lies in the soil, without a name
To know.
He truly gave all that he could give, he paid the ultimate
So his Nation would live
I truly believe you are in Heavens keeping, in a place of
No more weeping...
On these days of crimson sunrise,
I see his name when I close my eyes
