It's better to be in agony than to not feel.
To take a risk rather than play safe.
Risk a heartbreak other than never know love.
So full of scars but still foolish to risk another.
Each scar tells a tale of life.
A tale on a love found and lost.
Dreams dreamt but squashed.
Babies once had but never held.
Each scar a badge of experience.
A lesson painfully learned yet repeated.
The fall is worse depending on how high you go.
The impact grave depending on how deep you fall.
It's hard to be an optimist in a pessimistic world.
Stay positive when all you see is negative.
Doesn't mean you should lie and die.
Just means you should live and collect more scars.
The alternative won't let you feel.
