If for awhile I close my eyes
to wonder and dream,
I cannot notice the struggle
that I fight, just the wonder
of each passing day..
If for awhile words are not
spoken, it is my heart
singing magical songs..
If for awhile I stare
at the heavens, I never
forget the beauty that
amazes me..
If for awhile I cannot see
All the storms that may come
my way, it's part of life I must
follow through.
If for awhile I cross my heart
in vain, I'll find out without
haste, that it was sent my way
for a reason, another new day of
promise, a never ending desire
of wonderment.
