Out about in the Country I was a WALKING

Out about in the Country, I was a WALKING
I Passed a HERD, of --sixty-to-seventy--CATTLE, pure-Brown
They all were a GRAZZZING
And as I--Passssed--By
They all Stopped a Eating and Dining and GRAZING
And all were Looking at ME
Then as I started goofing around and
moooooooING
And then back at me the same--were
MOOOing
And we were just
cattle
T-A-L-K-I-N-G

Then I came across
A MINNESOTA, VULTURE
With Wing Span of it seemed at least five--FEET
Just Flying and Smoothly
GLIDING---G--L--I--D--I--N--G---GLIDING

And just looking along
The long-L-O-N-G-long
country, ROAD
For a snack attack
To find and to EAT
SOMETHING

But what impresses me the BEST
Was the Acres and Acres, of--Outstretched
farm Lands
With CORN, in the Fields
As Far as, East, to the Coast of
WEST

This MAGIC-MINNESOTA--LAND
It is so, Beautifully
Fertile, so--GREAT
So--ENDURING
So--GREAT
SO
M-I-N-N-E-S-O-T-A
GRAND
