 Elsie`s Poetry

MUST FIND IT

MUST FIND IT

Can you see it anywhere?
I`ve looked here and I`ve looked there,
It`s silly of him to lose this
It`s the sound of it that I miss.

First he would give us a wisecrack
Then he would throw his head back,
Laughter reigned for all to hear
Aching sides just all good cheer.

Silence reigns now without a smile
This just simply isn`t his style,
I must find it at any cost
Because without it he is lost.

Where can his sense of humour be?
This is hard for me to see,
I don`t believe that it has gone
`Cause he always had a good one.
