Walking Places
Before the angel of the Lord,
Satan standing at His right hand;
Accused of not in one accord,
And not obeying His demand.
The Lord said He reprimands,
No longer to be His elect;
For not following His commands,
Even the fire would reject.
Standing in front in filthy clothes,
The angel had said unto me;
Remove the garments that dirt shows,
So that the Lord would never see.
The Spirit took away the sin,
Clothed me with the pure investments;
Since the corruption cleansed within,
While curing all the ailments.
A clean turban rests on my head,
Clothed with some new apparel;
Heavenly food was being fed,
Free from all the earthly peril.
The angel had stood by the Lord,
As I was solemnly assured;
That my prayers were never ignored,
For His blessings constantly poured.
The Lord of Hosts was telling me,
To walk His way and keep His charge;
Wisdom and insight, I will see,
As my knowledge will then enlarge.
Then I rule my house, judge my court,
Places to walk with those who stand;
Admonish those that try to thwart,
Any portion what God has planned.
For my friends that sit before me,
They are all men who are a sign;
God will bring His servant to see,
Showing how to serve the Divine.
Before me God had laid a stone,
A single stone with seven eyes;
For seven eyes that He alone,
That is seeing the truth and lies.
In that day does the Lord declare,
We will invite our neighbor;
Under his fig tree you will share,
Accomplishments of your labor.
