Dare to Dream
Dare to see yourself in places you could never go
Dare to seek the knowledge in realms to would never know
Dare to shut the voices out that scream negativity
A dream is simply a vision yet to become reality
Dare to run, dare to jump, dare fly, and dare to climb
Dare to embrace to new you and leave the old behind
Anything is possible to those that believe
Dare to put your faith in a power you can’t see
Dare to be born again, live a life brand new
Dare to face the storms of life and dance the whole way through
Dare to tell that Doctor, with all due respect
Despite the diagnosis, I’m not finished yet
Dare to get that education, so beyond your reach
Dare to write, dare to read, dare to sing, dare to teach
Dream with your eyes wide open, see it come by faith
The night is long and dark but in time the sun will break
Then you will reap the harvest never before seen
And maybe inspire others to dare also to dream.
