Storm the Gates

Storm the Gates
Hear the trumpet sound
It's time to gain ground
No longer sitting back
Awaiting the enemies attack
Today we push the gates
There are too many souls at stake
Fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers
Friends, co-workers, and many others
Deceived and trapped, held in the dark
Prisoners in the war for the heart
Dying daily for the wages of sin
Too blind to see the grave they're in
Today the light shines, the church will arise
The armies of heaven will now mobilize
For too long we've circled the wall
The time has come to watch it fall
Today we storm the gates of hell
United in prayer we cannot fail
Taking back what Satan has stolen
The time is now while the blood is flowing
The Holy Spirit empowers, we are not alone
Our King is reigns from His throne
The victory has been our before time began
All we ever had to do was stand
Lord forgive these idle minds
Like Sampson's plea, just one more time
Revive our spirits, renew our minds
We will stand for what's true and just
And use the weapons You have given us
Prayer, supplication, faith and love
And every promise Your Word speaks of
The helmet of salvation, the gospel of peace
We storm the gates with all of these
Today is the day we attack
For Christ we take the nations back
