I want to make it clear,
The Gospel that I preach;
Knowing the need to fear,
And continue to reach.
For that you have received,
And on which you have stood;
Being saved if believed,
On the Word, as you should.
For if you firmly hold,
And faithfully believe;
The message as was told,
Others will not deceive.
For I passed onto you,
Importance to belief;
Of the sins you pursue,
Confession gives relief.
He had been crucified,
And raised up from the dead;
Let you be sanctified,
His body you are fed.
He appeared to many,
Believers at one time;
Leaves no doubt for any,
From the tomb He did climb.
Unworthy have been I,
Persecuting the church;
Living to cheat and lie,
Aimlessly in my search.
But by the grace of God,
I am now what I am;
As I honor and laud,
Pay homage to the Lamb.
For His grace onto me,
Has never been in vain;
Giving insight to see,
That I was in such pain.
I worked harder than all,
But His grace was with me;
Catching me in my fall,
When He has heard my plea.
Whether as I or they,
This is how I will preach;
My belief is the way,
As poetic out-reach.
