Unbeatable  Pair

Fortify this broken heart, stand strongly against the foe.
Hold the golden crest till all invaders go.
So the wall was built,  chains remain, the blood ran cold
The fort grew old, loneliness grew bold

You stood patiently at the main fortress gate,
For a  mysterious reason those doors opened and changed my
Fate.
There forged a battle,  that thawed the icy chill, a triumph
that broke the chains and freed my iron will.
The broken heart was healed, a deeper love now sealed.

The walls came down stone by stone until it was replaced
With a loving home.
So side by side we stand to face all wars that flair, hand in
hand we walk the victory of our care.
We have become an unbeatable pair.
