Soft light filled her candle lit room
Drawn to the warm glow, her peace starts
to grow.
Whispering of darkness shows
Watching the wax melting, trickling down
Creating a sea of wax
Soft candle glow beacon in darkest pitch
A tiny flame when twilight gives way
taking Sun's last rays
Shadows cast the outline of hands holding
a weary face, flickering flame begins
Darkness is upheld with grace when shadows
Take their place.
( Shadows are born of light, when candles glow in the night)
