Now we do speak wisdom,
Amongst all the mature;
Sacred from the Kingdom,
That the Lord will assure.
But not one of this age,
That this earth does cherish;
The rulers at this stage,
Will likely to perish.
We speak wisdom from God,
Passed down through history;
To who honor and laud,
Hidden in mystery.
For the Lord decided,
Ages before glory;
How we should be guided,
In knowing the story.
No rulers of this time,
Having misunderstood;
Crucified as a crime,
Death as a likelihood.
Things that no eye has seen,
No ear has ever heard;
Imagined what has been,
That God said in His Word.
Things that God has prepared,
For those who have loved Him;
God reveals and has shared,
A future not as grim.
Revealed through His Spirit,
Searching through all the things;
For what we inherit,
That eternal life brings.
Who among men would know,
Those things that are of man;
For his spirit would show,
The thoughts that he does plan.
Now we have not received,
The spirit of the world;
Because what we believed,
Not what God has unfurled.
For who has known the mind,
The wisdom of the Lord;
But through Jesus we find,
To be in one accord.
