 Sleepless  In  Tulsa
Another  sleepless  night  in  Tulsa
Seems  to  have  become  the  norm
Restlessness  reigns  in  my  mind
Sleep  evades  me  night  after  night

Eyelids  refuse  to  close,  tossing  to
And  fro,  needing  sleep,  not  finding
It,  twisting  my  pillow,  this  way  and
That,  swallowing  down  benadryl  caps

Watching  the  sunrise,  listening  to
The  bird's  twill,  cat  meows,  She
Wants  feed,  bloodshot  eyes,  no
Surprise,  Calgon,  take  me  away.
