Just Had My Baby

So tender you lay like a doll
so loving upon this bed of love
you bear my child alone dear one
now you lay in blood stain sheets..

So loving I hold you tenderly
I kiss your lips so moist, so willing
You hold me weak with fear
your life holds on to a thread
oh my love I will go when you go...

You gaze in my eyes, with tears, when
your doubts grow deep my lady of
love, mother of my son, hold on to
me, while I breathe life back into you.

Now you turn your head with beauty
love pouring from those deep blue eyes
your touch soft, tender is your thoughts
you melt over and over again my lady
my love, on the bed of red, mother of
my child.
