We've all known or lived happy stories, of life's everyday joys
Some have had charmed lives, like a beautiful fairytale, until one
Day, a lump, or pain, closes the book of sunshine and roses, and
Opens a book of horror
You find yourself standing at a crossroads, suddenly thrust
Into a nightmarish reality, when the Doctor says that dreaded
Word, cancer, suddenly, looming in front of you, like a menacing
Goliath, we feel so small, so alone
This is when fiction meets reality, where Faith meets fear
The struggle begins, which one will win? at this crossroad
Where faith meets fear, the battle of faith and fear, has
Now begun, this fight is real
We must remember little David, we have to know from
Whom, our strength comes, faith put into action, will
Put the giants in our lives to flight, so remember, at
Your crossroads, Faith will put fear to flight
I know something about Faith and fear, I heard the word
cancer, and underwent a double Mastectomy on 1/ 8 / 2018
my hope is that I might encourage those who find themselves
in any life-threatening situation, to read Gods word, and as
a child of the most high God, stand on it! if anyone
