Poetic-Verses

CHRIST, OUR COUSIN

Biva gatora belengedes
We remember Thee so quickly
Though our fathers chanted
"Away with Him"
For so not true jews should do
Or should have done
We got the price,
Which we spent not
A price so worthless!;
For which the primoder, Judas,
Had to hang
We remember Your Goodnesses
So many, we can't count
How you multiplied food
Cured the leper
Made the blind see
Walked on water
Stilled the storm
Just to mention but a few
But we knew Thee to be God
When Your garment sparkled on Olive Mount.
