There is no condemnation,
For those who are in the Lord;
And showing dedication,
Desiring in one accord.
For the Law of the Spirit,
Of your life has set you free;
From any sinful merit,
That death has captivity.
For God has done what the Law,
Weakened by flesh could not do;
His Spirit cleanses the flaw,
By sending His Son to you.
Although He was not of sin,
His appearance was sentenced;
As a sacrifice within,
So that sin could be silenced.
The righteous requirement,
Of the Law might be fulfilled;
And we have the achievement,
Of His righteousness instilled.
Live by the flesh sets your mind,
Of pleasures of fleshly things;
Its darkness making you blind,
To whatever Heaven brings.
Set your mind on flesh is death,
Heavenly desires cease;
Destruction after last breath,
Having no more life or peace.
The flesh is hostile towards God,
Not submitting to His Law;
Worshipping not to give Him laud,
The mind set as a downfall.
Those in the flesh cannot please,
If you are not into Christ;
The Spirit of Christ decrees,
That your flesh not be enticed.
If Jesus is within you,
Your flesh is still dead from sin;
If your confession is true,
Then a new life will begin.
He who raised Christ from the dead,
Will also give life to you;
From His body you are fed,
His Spirit gives life anew.
