LAND OF ISLANDS

LAND OF ISLANDS

There are roundabouts wherever you look
It doesn`t matter which road that you took,
Littles ones, big ones but they`re not all the same
For each little roundabout has its own name.

A gallery of faces for people to see
Some old some young who can they be?
Someone knows them of this I am sure
Go round the roundabout and take the tour.

A light cube that changes colour at the top
You cannot watch it for you dare not stop,
But round and round you can go and admire
This tall light cube is there to inspire.

There`s Bone Island now this one suits its name
As I have said `no two islands are the same`,
Then there is Hope Island to do with Marie Curie
Covered in Daffs it`s a pretty sight to see.

Now Halfmile Island or so it is written
Is probably the biggest Island in Britain,
Really you should come and take a look
You can find us in the Doomsday Book.

No traffics lights here will ever be found
The traffic flows it goes round and round,
No hold ups no waiting for lights to change
Some people may find this very strange.
