So Sad
So Sad July 28, 2016
Running from death and destruction
No record of the struggle
Death was the memory
The world denied as babies cried
Human rights denied
Living in a safe country
No worries, just the welfare state
No death at your doorstep
Suffer Little Children the words of the day
I heard it on a record, things have changed today
Babies die, do we cry?
The children are not from here
Dying without fear, how sad
Love the world, love the children
Love the people
I have room in my life
Do you have room in yours
I welcome the children
I welcome the people
People of no country
Running from death and destruction
