Poetic-Verses

WHEN

When I discovered Mercy found me
At Failure's door
And destiny was to pick me up,
But never showed up,
I learnt to wait.

I learnt to put my trust in God
And think no longer fearful thoughts.
I thrust my armor some where by
And asked for God's helmet.

The fury nearly drowned my soul
Into its mighty stirring foams
And since I found ‘twas tough to live
I gave God my future to keep.

When it became most wild and fierce
I put my armor on
And then His light within me sprang
And every trouble fled.
