BOOK LAWS
Honest children don't go to libraries
Some careless children visit libraries
A few children can use the library
But the difference lies in the reading.
If careless adults go for money
And warm their heads and dive for money
And fly at it, sad never reading
They'll one day die for want of thinking.
You don't too read and get your topic
And then go round disturbing others
Thinking that you'll alone but make it
Destiny smiles not on such habit.
You don't leave books and go for parties
Expect the book to be unhappy
And smile at you too while you're resting
Since books won't open at your rating.
Do not shun books and look for jollies
As sure I say you'd be frustrated
Prepared not yourself for the topic?
You would but fail I say, properly.
Don't be superstitious at nothing
If you would read with understanding
And quote the theories, fixing problems
Let be the rest our God will do it.
Please, do not show others you're reading
It is absolutely unnecessary
It takes away half your attention
And leaves you always gaining nothing.
How you may read is not a problem
Just get the text and get the details
After your rest but check the details
And try remembering all you've studied
Remember, it is not the studying,
The teasing names, that tells you're reading
Nor yet the kick of balls and jumping
It is the points you write when questioned.
After your reading, feed a little
On pure good food that's available
Heavy eating upsets your interest
And makes you weak; off you'd be sleeping.
If you're but sick, make sure you're treated
Tell your teacher and tell your neighbor
You may not read too with high fever
Excuse your table till you're healthy.
Then, there's one aspect – it's your motive:
Should you impress others by reading?
Get satisfied by how they view you,
And fail for lack of understanding?
Hypocrites love the eyes of people
Their reward is that they are noticed
And those people whose eyes they bother,
Would still find them but shameful failures.
After good sleeping, rise up quickly
Get your eyes fresh at least by washing
And wait a bit to feel awakened
And pick your book and start your reading.
As well, you need a chair for reading,
A table lower than your elbow
And blessed goes the birth of reading
The very thing is do the reading.
Night reading is a necessity
If you're healthy and not but feeble
If you've rested and too have eaten
Wake up my friend and do your reading.
If you're upset or have insomnia
You may not read with understanding
You need to sleep to grasp the subject
If it persists, please see your doctor.
Not all problems are solved by doctors
Insomnia a times needs a preacher
Oppressions, harassment and night mares
Will only need your seeing a preacher.
And finally don't read while troubled
Discouragement, depression cripple
And do not make for understanding
See then, a doctor and a preacher.
Would you want to get just appraisals?
Or gold crown sit your head and sparkling?
Then stop hypocrisy and joking;
Do your reading like it's a battle.
