Poetic-Verses
THE MYSTERY OF MAN AND THE BALL ON WHICH HE LIVES.
I saw a large big pit
Upon the earth and deep
And full of every black
And muddy dirty thing.
And then I heard a voice
Which said to me “This is
The mystery of man
And I will tell you why.”
A voice did say to me
“The earth is his body,
The water is his soul,
The air is his spirit.”
“The territory he lives
Is but himself defined
Complete in perfect pact
Is the mystery of man.”
“And like you saw the pit
Full of all dirty things
And mud and waters dark
And sticks and dirty beasts”.
“When a man commits sin –
And sin is but the mud -
He gets demons and guilt
Which are the beasts and dirts”.
“The water if but clean,
And the air pure and rich
Means wholeness in its midst,
Then has salvation come.”
I sat and thought of this
Since all were but unclean
I shouted to myself:
‘Is this but satan's deed?'
Long did I sit to wept
Uttering to myself:
‘I am Abraham's son
And won't serve anyone!'
As soon as I said this
A mighty wind blew in
Sweeping across the land
Dried it of every mud.
The earth was clean and green
Above a golden lawn
The air was fresh and neat
The water had no dot.
