TINY PRAISES

If you lift your tiny praises,
Tiny ever will you be.
If you zoom your tiny lenses,
Nothing ever will you see.

If you pray that people know you,
Even so for you ‘twill be.
When your praise is gone and vanished,
Tiny still will you but be.

Seek to teach the mountains wisdom;
Seek to teach the hills of peace.
Tell them that the bank of wisdom,
Never ends in all its widths.

If you blow your loudest trumpet;
Or have men blow it for thee,
Soon shall be your mourning only;
Soon shall you but never be.
