IF (I SHINE).
If my foremost is the quest for knowledge
Give me all I want
If my foremost is the quest for wisdom
Give me what I need
If my foremost is the quest for millions
Give me Lord, I pray
If my fore muse is the steps of wisdom
Give me; that I need
If my thought is the quest for college
Give me what I need
If my plight is the quest for courage
Give me everything
If I pant for the rule of Wisdom
Pour it on my head
If I ask for the skills of Wisdom
Store them in my being.
If my prayer's to shine as diamond
Oh Lord bless my being
Not the gold every so common
‘Fire' burn in me.
