'' There's Nothing Left To Take Back ''
When our visitors show,
What will they know,
As Voyager they may never have seen,
Will goodwill flow,
Or will they bestow,
A dictatorship that's ever so mean.
Take communication,
Just basic dictation,
Among humans it can cause a fight,
Across every nation,
We have differing narration,
Will they know which one of is right.
If intelligence is key,
What will they see,
A world awash with destruction?
Will we remain free,
Or will they agree,
We humans are a major obstruction.
Why are they here?
Should we feel fear,
We have shown we don't respect life,
Will they shed a tear?
When we disappear,
Like us they may revel in strife.
Our love to hate,
We cannot abate,
Our nuclear arsenals show that is true,
Could it be fate,
There'll be no debate,
Other lifeforms they will pursue.
Their mission completed,
We were not deleted,
Their decision was not to attack,
It's yourselves you've cheated,
What we want's been depleted,
