Poetic-Verses

PUNCH ONE

When life offers you some punch,
And you cannot but respond.
Sit to think and think again;
“God is good and God will help.”

Certainly, the slash was sharp,
Dismembered your limbs and deep;
Hope in Him; but hope in God;
God will help and anywhere.

Clubs and slaps and grief and crams,
Offer but pain to the skull.
Curb your sadness, cause your joy;
Curb the angles where you fall.

Truth of teacher, truths of knots:
Hardened wizards causing fall?
Tumbled in your rubbled floor?
Off the table's wounding fall.

Lift your eyes and look at One;
Look at one whose burden's none.
Humbly will HE lead you thro;
Leaves his care and faces yours.

Good the corn when cool and torn;
Cook the corn and cook the brum!
Ripened corns may never scorn,
When they solve the table's turn.

Tricks so sleeks and tricks unborn:
Who said that you suffered much?
Spotless babies suffer such,
And you feel that you can fall?
