Poetic-Verses
LOVE’S MARVELOUS TOUCH.
I've found Love's way, I'm glad to say.
My sandals burnt, I'm greatly moved;
Trekking for miles to see Love's face.
This is Love's trick, I'm just confused.
My barnacles are all but loosed,
But I've as well refused to leave.
Condemned to Love, yet I would say:
Of choice and not at all of threat;
Confined to Love: properly put.
Misdeeds are bunch of disrespect.
In Love's eyes, they are but respect,
If I choose Love and shun their tastes.
Conquered am I; yes I accept,
Not by women or any spell.
If it's by Love; yes, I accept.
To tame the wildness of the flame,
Has never been through other flames,
But by the touch of Love that heals.
Conquered am I, I say again.
Not by a touch, bullet or bomb,
But by Love's touch that shocks and numbs.
