Listen to me know what is right,
You who are aware of the Law;
Discourage not caused by the fright,
Abusive insults of a flaw.
A moth will eat away their clothes,
But vindication will not last;
Because of the life that they chose,
From the dark shadows that they cast.
Wake up and clothe yourself with strength,
Awake as in the ancient days;
To persevere at any length,
Against the sea dragon that strays.
Did you not smash the wicked one,
Wounded the monster from the sea;
Some time ago know of a Son,
Locking it into captivity.
Did You not dry up the deep sea,
Making a path for all to walk;
So, You would be finally free,
Still You cared even though we mock.
Whoever ransomed will return,
They will enter Zion so glad;
Unending joy for what they learn,
No longer suffering or sad.
God is the One who consoles you,
No need in fearing mortal men;
Human beings cannot construe,
Short-lived life that has been condemned.
Why are you forgetting the Lord,
Who established earth and the sky;
You must not let Him be ignored,
Or questioning His commands why.
The one who suffers soon released,
He will not be starving to death;
For the Lord God cause waves increased,
As enemies take their last breath.
No longer tremble all day long,
As the Lord makes plans to destroy;
As surging waves becoming strong,
Upon the shore as they deploy.
