Song of the Rain

Rainy day by the window
Dreaming in the silent moment,
There is a quiet time between thoughts
When all is singing in your soul;
And all that you feel deep within
Seems to hold on to you
And you don't want it to end-
Stepping into a world of hope,
Leaving all the dark days behind,
Finding the space to smile again,
Drinking the wine of just being-
Becoming a flower in the dawn light
Growing gently into perfect peace.
